Cockos has updated REAPER to v2.011.

Changes since v2.002:

    * Revised peak cache date logic for better dealing with odd daylight savings time changes.

    * Fx chain: better fold button positioning (T,MP!).

Jag är nyfiken på vilka som faktiskt arbetar med Reaper. Den imponerar på bild men hur är den att arbeta med? Är den en konkurrent till Cubase eller är den en enklare bra gratisprogramvara att börja med, för den som inte har Acid eller Cubase eller annat sequenserprogram? Nån som vet och har erfarenhet.

Är den en konkurrent till Cubase eller är den en enklare bra gratisprogramvara att börja med, för den som inte har Acid eller Cubase eller annat sequenserprogram? Nån som vet och har erfarenhet.
Vad jag förstått så är/var den en klon av Sony Vegas. Det var t o m  så att knappar och utseende var kopierat rakt av från början. Så har man kikat på Vegas eller Acid så känner man igen sig + att Reaper fick en mixer vilket Vegas väldigt länge saknade.
Det blev också betydligt lättare att routa ljud internt i programmet. Numera så kan du i stort dessutom ha vilket skal som helst i programmet för att trivas med ditt GUI. http://stash.reaper.fm/tag/Themes
Jag har testat att redigera ljud men inte att spela in seriöst. Blir lika impad varje gång av att programmet är så litet men funkar så bra som det gör. Sitter varje gång o undrar vad haken är, men har inte kommit på det än.  B)
