Nu har jag lyssnat mycket och låten växer verkligen men det saknas några grejer tycker jag, ägg (hårdkokt), maraccas, tamburin, en banjo, panflöjt och möjligen en triangel. Kan det vara något?

Borde jag lägga till en kör i slutet, som sjunger: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 all gods children go to heaven? Det skulle passa!

2012-02-18 Done some minor changes on the mix today, after some suggestions earlier. Have a reversed cymbal in the beginning of a slidesolo and use a tambourine at some parts of the track. Still waiting for help from Harmonica Mike and I hope Julianna will have time soon.

Akustiskaliptisk oxå. 
Positivast är jag! Du har bara lyssnat tre gånger - jag har säkert lyssnat sjuhundratre gånger och blir fortfarande glad av att höra den. Tack för Bowie-associationen! Den ska jag komma ihåg!

Thin sound is a possibility (mixing with headphones), but now the master is very close to 0 and if I boost 1-2 db around 70 Hz I have to change the master everything else. I just might have to do that. But is the sound really that thin? Can someone else that have good ears and good speakers give me a second opinion?

The next version of this I hopefully will hear with Juliana and H-Mike.

Me to, hopefully. HM said he will give it a try this ucoming week and I asked Julianna just the other day, if and when she will have time.

Another fun part (to me anyway) is that yesterday I soldered the guitarjack on the wire that connects my old philips microphone (kolkorns-mikrofon) to the amplifier. After that I tried the micropone playing the harmonica and I think I now have the dusty harmonicasound that I've been missing earlier. I also think it works great on vocals, when you want that old rockabilly-sound.


It's a rare Philips EL 6021/50 probably from the late 50'ies

Got a preview today from Harmonica Mike. I like what I hear! His version reminds me of country and western and it reminds him of real blues. I will send a new version of "Access To The Timeportal" to HM and also to Julianna where my voice is not heard at all. In that way it is easier for them to make a more personal version of the song.

I think, in the end, I will have several versions of "Access To The Timeportal", one with my voice doing the leadsong, one with HM and one with Julianna. On my "lead"-version I hope I can use HM:s and Juliannas voice.
But on a country-version, my voice might be nonexistant. We'll see what will come out of this colaboration.

nr 1 Wy dont try the tamburine on all refrengs nr 2 Eko on the song Word LAST in the först refreng and nr 3 The end of the songs take away the crach cymbal to the revercid cymbal. If   you   have time ,can you try it. perowitch

Echo on a particular word in the end of the chorus is also a very good idea! I'll check it out.
I know you don't like the "Gula Viillan-crash" at the end. I guess I have to lower it's volume. 
Matteman is still thinking if he should rerecord the bass to make it more inclined with the kickdrum.
Or maybe I will try to record a new kick that follows my first intention on the kick, the one that the bassguitar follows, will see what it will be.

Introriffet är riktigt bra. Tror det skulle vara ännu snyggare om du renodlade det något och förenklade samt kanske spela med slide?

Introt med slide blev ju riktigt bra. 

Hittar fortfarande en del förbättringsmöjligheter:

• Lite obeslutsamt i bandet vid stoppet vid 79. Ett snygg avslag med ringande cymbal och ett akkestrum?
• Otajt vid 116
• Konstigt i solot vid 134
• Slidesoundet är väldigt murrigt tycker jag. Lite mer topp behövs.
• Vid 180 och 270 låter det som dubbla slag på trummorna?
• Tycker att pukfillsen överlag dominerar för mycket.
• Lite orgelskräp alldeles i avslaget också.

Den här tråden tycker jag är ett ypperligt exempel på detta forums styrka. Speciellt när en forummedlem så girigt suger i sig av den feedback som ges. Bra MaxB!!!

Jag har flyttat den till färdiga nu trots att det finns förbättringsförslag jag kanske inte hanterat.

Det kan luta åt att Matteman vill ha ett samarbete med mig igen vilket jag tycker låter kul. Han nämnde den här låten som en med möjlig hit-potential om den görs om från grunden. Det låter både skoj och intressant, även om jag tycker den är jättebra så här också.

Tänker göra en Karaoke-version av den här versionen - som är en av de låtar jag går och sjunger på om dagarna, när jag inte har bättre för mig.
