Julianna McDuffie & equality - Confidence
Kornstad:
Wow! I've been so busy now for some time, that I've hardly had a chance to sit in front of the computer at all.
I got an email from EQ about this thread and I must say that I've really missed something here. I really like this version and I think that you have a great voice Julianna! :)
No hard feeling at all EQ! You know that I just think that it is fun to have a go and try, but it is even more fun when you hear different versions of the same song and how other people can make it. I listen and I learn.... ;)

What a superb song this is!
Proven also by the fackt that the different versions have their own quality
And Julianna you got a exellent voice and I like your interpretation
Maybe a little more closeness
But truly wonderful as it is!

Since I noticed that we have a new member: Baconmcmuffin, I thought I'd write something in english here.
Truly lovely voice you've got. I think a way to improve this tune would be to lay a little more dynamic songtrack on it: Parts with conciderable less force, almost just whispering, to blend with your more impressive stronger tones and vibrato.
Great work from both, I think this is one of the songs ever written by eq that remains most firm in my memory.
Again, very welcome to our message board, and I hope it's ok that i gave you a nickname after a breakfast dish at mac donalds. ;)
cheers, T

The swenglish discussion..
---------------Babelfish translation:
Write this in Swedish, and cut in with babelfish ago;)
Vibrato's a view issue, like it, singing style (mix of classical and jazz / folk / rock) and the voice feels dynamic (in harmony) with what the text conveys. Julianna has found a good balance there going home here. :)
To compare with Kornstad's version, I would not do. (Have both on the list.) It is a thesis ..
